About Stephanie

This World Can Be a Tough Place

Sometimes life hands us experiences we didn’t ask for, don’t want, and don’t feel equipped to handle. Filled with anxiety or surrounded by loss, it can feel like there is no where to turn.

You want to be successful, have good relationships with friends and family, contribute meaningfully to the world and even have some fun. Instead you may find yourself struggling to get out of bed in the morning, cycling mental patterns of negative thoughts about yourself, or even sabotaging work or relationships.

Maybe you’re feeling depressed and like it’s time to reach out to someone to lighten your load.

I’m Here To Help

Hi, my name is Stephanie Ward. My role as your therapist will be to help unlock your innate ability to heal, forgive, grow and prosper in the life you wish to create. I graduated with my Masters in Social work from Boise State University and have 15+ years working with adults as well as children and teens in a variety of settings, including working with foster youth.

Without the necessary support, emotions can get so big and daunting that we defend ourselves against them, building walls that often lead to numbness, anxiety, and depression. I strive to create a warm and welcoming environment for my clients to promote a safe space for healing.

Through a variety of evidence based practices, I have helped many people curb self destructive behaviors, improve relationships and heal from the pain of grief and loss while learning to be more kind to themselves and others.

In addition to working with adults, I also work with kids and teens on similar issues and partner with their parents on ways to best support them.
