About Miles

Nothing Seems to be Working

Asking for support for yourself or your child is a courageous step.

Without warning you may find yourself dealing with loss of a relationship, changing schools or jobs, or just feeling like life has lost its spark.

Perhaps parenting, which used to be so easy, does not seem to be working. Or carrying so much anxiety & stress, day-in & day-out has become too heavy.

Life has Turned Upside Down

If everything seems to be getting magnified to the point that life has just overwhelming, I get it. I can help you pave a path to reclaim your well-being.

Together, we can develop the skills needed to motivate you or your child & enhance your individual strengths.

My Therapeutic Approach

I have always been passionate about helping others. Even at the age of six I remember trying to help other classmates who struggled with making friends and communicating with others. The older I became the stronger my desire to help others make the changes they want to make in their lives by supporting their mental health.

This led to my wealth of experience working with children and families through a myriad of difficult situations, such as being in foster care, changes in the family, traumatic experiences, school and academic struggles, and much more. I’ve also worked with adults through relationship struggles, interpersonal violence, and with those within the criminal justice system.

Currently, I have a M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy and have coalesced all of this experience while providing a safe, respectful, and open place for anyone. Whether you are managing hardship, want to make positive changes in your life, or need help healing through trauma, I am here with an empathetic ear and an open mind.

When I’m Not Being a Therapist…

Outside of work, music is a large part of my life. Whether it be listening to music, playing music, or even writing my own songs, I find music to be helpful, healing, and fun!

On the off chance I’m not playing music, I will probably be hiking in nature, spending time with my family, going on a jog, or playing with my animals! Overall, I try to keep active as I find this to be one of the best ways to reduce stress, improve my mood, and stay positive.
