About Ashley

Thank You For Being Here

Hi, I am Ashley Ratzlaff. Thank you for being authentic and realizing you’re ready for a change.

Sometimes We Feel Hopeless

Inside every experience, no matter how dark or hopeless it feels, no matter how anxious, avoidant, empty or lonely we feel, there is a next step on our path.

Sometimes it takes great courage to take this step, to ask for help, see our strengths, and learn new tools.

When we add to our toolboxes, we find ways to bridge the gap to that next step.

Support Can Make a Difference

Therapy can help you resolve the internal thoughts, feelings and stuck points that no one else sees. You’ll learn ways to process the past and create a new future. You’ll learn ways to sooth your mind, body and spirit.

Even when it’s a painful or a difficult jump, you can express your needs, find your authentic self, and step into the life you’ve been waiting for.

You Are Worth It

Change and growth are constants in life. This is true throughout childhood all the way to becoming an elder. Whether you’re struggling through grief and loss, through addiction, or within your relationships, you can discover the things that are holding you back, and create lasting change.

All people have the potential for growth and awakening across their lifespan if they harness their true potential and step into their worthiness. Are you ready to begin that journey?

There Is Hope

I use a compassionate, yet direct approach to help clients of all ages gain insight into patterns that have them feeling “stuck”.

My clients have struggled with a range of issues, many of which have their roots in anxiety, depression, self esteem, or relationship stress. I believe that getting to know how you got here is key to knowing who you are and where you should go.

I am passionate about this work and will help you address all aspects (mental, physical, spiritual, social, and emotional) of what you might be going through. As we work to heal and integrate all parts of you, your life will transform, from the inside out.

More About Me

I have expertise and experience treating depression, anxiety, adjustment issues, trauma, family and relational issues, eating disorders and more. My therapeutic approach is fairly simple: I believe you are the expert in your life and I am here as a partner and sounding board to help you make real positive changes. My therapeutic style takes into account my training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy,  and Gottman therapy. I tailor my methods depending on the various needs of the clients I serve.

I provide support to people of all ages and life experiences. Working with youth and young adults, parents and their children, as well as individuals experiencing new stages in life is what I love to do. I have a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, and have worked in this field with individuals and families for several years.

When I’m not practicing therapy you can find me spending time with my family, playing with my child, or cuddling with my fur babies. I love being creative through baking, music, writing and crafts. I love watching movies, adding books to my reading list, listening to podcasts and traveling.

While I see clients of all types, here are some of my specialties:

  • People in their 20’s
  • Kid and Teen Therapy
  • Greif and Loss
  • Depression and Anxiety

  • Life Transitions
  • Parenting & Coparenting
  • Trauma
  • Eating Disorders and Body Image
