This World Can Be a Tough Place
Sometimes life hands us experiences we didn’t ask for, don’t want, and don’t feel equipped to handle. Filled with anxiety or surrounded by loss, it can feel like there is no where to turn.
Maybe you’re feeling depressed and like it’s time to reach out to someone to lighten your load.
I’m Here To Help
Hi, my name is Emily Dwyer. My role as your therapist will be to help unlock your innate ability to heal, forgive, grow and prosper in the life you wish to create.
Without the necessary support, emotions can get so big and daunting that we defend ourselves against them, building walls that often lead to numbness, anxiety, and depression. I strive to create a warm and welcoming environment for my clients to promote a safe space for healing.
Through a variety of evidence based practices, I have helped many people curb self destructive behaviors, improve relationships and heal from the pain of grief and loss while learning to be more kind to themselves and others.
In addition to working with adults, I also work with kids and teens on similar issues and partner with their parents on ways to best support them.
